Broken Hearts
I spoke to a friend last night, and during our dialogue, he reminded me of the words of Jesus when he entered a Jewish temple at the beginning of his ministry. He read from Luke 4, verses 18 and 19.
“I have come to bring a message of good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty (set free) those who are oppressed and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
Here Jesus speaks to his truth, way, and life. Luke is relating the words of Jesus, speaking of the reason he is alive on planet earth.
The real message that God has been communicating to us since the garden escape is that man has fallen, been lied to by the Serpent, and we need help getting back to where we belong, and our Messiah has shown up in the flesh to bring the good and hopeful message to another level.
“We are at the most vulnerable place we’ve ever been as a civilization. As I've pointed out in previous posts, we have been “managed” by the Thief through the Marxist, demonic narrative that has infiltrated our culture and our very neurology to “steal” every bit of awareness we might have through the bicameral mind, creating a Postmodern culture, that is quite capable of controlling our very perception of truth and interfere with any hope of functioning well again. Destroying our ability to communicate with those we “love” but can’t comprehend.”
The Thief also has an agenda to kill as many people as possible. They’ve clarified that they intend to reduce the human race to 500 million. Presently, attempts have been discovered to kill off humanity with the created virus, and the vaccine that’s supposed to protect us from the virus, to date has created a death bloom that may see a life cycle lasting many years.
And finally, the Thief will destroy our ability to receive all the good gifts made available to us, so our lives are a continuation of depravity and despair. The gifts I speak of are the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, and peace….
It is these gifts that God has made available through the Holy Spirit that Jesus said he would send us after he left the earth. The Holy Spirit was described as the spiritual entity of God’s making to comfort, teach, correct, dwell in our very flesh, be a source of revelation, wisdom, and power to guide us to all truth and knowledge, and seal our lives as God's children.
The gospel of Christ is good news to all of us. And the clarity of Jesus as our messiah is apparent in Lukes's gospel. The message should be evident to us.
God has made promises to all of us for transformation into a human living an abundant life rich with the fruit of the spirit. And rich in relationship with the Father, wise and understanding spiritual knowledge.
This postmodern culture has put us in a place where we are captive to our ontology. Jesus says he came to set captives free. He is engaged in a spiritual battle that wants to keep humanity blinded to the truth of the Thief's agenda.
I recently listened to a “short” on Facebook of Matthew Kelly saying that God is waiting for us to ask him to transform us by His Holy Spirit to make us people who operate in the fruit of the Holy Spirit. People who thrive, love, and know peace, wisdom, and understanding.
Jesus came to preach the good news…
