Ask, Seek, Knock

Still waters at sunset in Montana. It was a quiet moment at sunset north of Missoula. If my memory serves me, it was in the Seeley Lake area. 

Quiet reflections! Moments when you can hear your heartbeat. Moments are needed to get your head together after painful choices are made. Choices that took a while to make were so difficult. One hopes choices that will alter your future for the best. 

Recently read, an author states that silence and solitude can profoundly affect your spiritual life. Does God speak in silence? And doesn't he shout in our painful moments? I know He is speaking most every time we take a moment to slow down and listen. But he is also listening when we bring our petitions to His ears. He wants us to ask, put it out there. Speak what is on our hearts and create it. He wants us to ask, seek and knock! That's what the book says!
